Terroir
The vineyards that produce our Sangiovese are located in the Angri region, near Canosa, in the region of Alta Murgia, to be more precise. They are cultivated according to strict specifications that guarantee superior quality. The vines grow in relatively deep alluvial soils of medium texture with a mix of limestone and sand. These are dark soils with a good content of organic matter.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand in early September. After being sorted, they macerate in a stainless-steel tank at a controlled temperature for a period of 10 days. Once the grapes have been pressed, fermentation takes place in a stainless-steel tank to preserve the fruit’s freshness.
