A French Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas of black fruit and green pepper, derived from high environmental value certification practices.

Terroir

The vineyards used to make our Cabernet Sauvignon are located on the foothills of Corbières, between Narbonne and Névian. The terroir is garrigue-ridden, the climate windy, warm, and sunny, in close proximity to the Mediterranean, which allows for complete maturation of the grapes.

Winemaking

Harvesting takes place in September, and once they have been sorted, the grapes macerate in a stainless-steel tank at a controlled temperature for 7 days. Once the grapes have been pressed, fermentation is done in a stainless-steel tank to preserve the fruit’s freshness.

Tasting notes

Rich ruby red in colour. Exudes aromas of pepper, black cherry, blackberry, as well as notes of garrigue, characteristic of the region. On the palate, the tannins are complex, and the finish is harmonious and long.

Suggested pairings

Ideal with your favourite grilled meats: red wine flank steak, lamb burger, ribs, etc.

Transportation and bottling

The wine, approved by our tasting committee, is bulk-shipped by boat from Narbonne to Montreal, where it is then bottled.

Certification

This wine is derived from high environmental value (HEV) certification practices.
